Pictures in the rain during a hurricane

Who said  ..... "You can't take pictures in the rain Clayton!"

During the past 10 years I had photo shoots with all the major television networks serving as a videographer and cinematographer mostly in breaking news stores through out the southeastern states.

Got to meet movie stars, people in the news, politicians, corporate presidents,Secret Service details, television news anchors like Peter Jennings, Tom Brokaw and Dan Rather.

These photographs were taken during coverage of a hurricane in Charleston, South Carolina. The entire city was evacuated leaving only police and news crews in the city.

Seemed like the Twlight Zone as there were no people, no cars, nothing to be seen or heard in the city. Very errie feeling.

I was camera man for a NBC news crew from California covering the hurricane in these photographs.

A lot of my senior photo shoots use lighting techniques borrowed from the tv news documentary shoots. One of the many reasons my senior portraits feature such distinctive flair, beauty and symmetry.
