The ghosts were real in our home!

For almost 6 years I have been writing an Opinion Editorial Column
on Wednesday in my hometown's daily newspaper,
the Dyersburg State Gazette.

My subject matters covers the whole scope of life, including
many columns with a humorous look at our lives.

The picture above shows my column about the ghosts that
inhibited a house in Dyersburg that my two sons
grew up in back in the 70's and 80's.

Sports Ilustrated Swim Suit Photo Shoot

Sports Illustrated Swim Suit Photo Shoot

Many thanks to my viewers asking for more photos on the
Sports Illustrated swim suit photo shoot that I
posted  here a few days ago on my Blog.

You will note the photographers, one a friend of mine,
do not use any technical lighting on the shoots.
Mainly natural light on the model
enhanced by reflectors.

Same method that I use as I photograph the many
High School seniors on my web site

Stay tuned for results of my very own swim suit photo shoot
on St. John's Island in the Virgin Island chain later
this year.

Pictures in the rain during a hurricane

Who said  ..... "You can't take pictures in the rain Clayton!"

During the past 10 years I had photo shoots with all the major television networks serving as a videographer and cinematographer mostly in breaking news stores through out the southeastern states.

Got to meet movie stars, people in the news, politicians, corporate presidents,Secret Service details, television news anchors like Peter Jennings, Tom Brokaw and Dan Rather.

These photographs were taken during coverage of a hurricane in Charleston, South Carolina. The entire city was evacuated leaving only police and news crews in the city.

Seemed like the Twlight Zone as there were no people, no cars, nothing to be seen or heard in the city. Very errie feeling.

I was camera man for a NBC news crew from California covering the hurricane in these photographs.

A lot of my senior photo shoots use lighting techniques borrowed from the tv news documentary shoots. One of the many reasons my senior portraits feature such distinctive flair, beauty and symmetry.

Masters Golf Photographs make a perfect Christmas Gift

In my travels as a professional photographer for corporations and television networks I have access to many venues. One of my favorties is the Masters Golf tournament in Augusta, Georgia.

For the golfer, this would be the ultimate Christmas Gift. A beautifully matted, framed photograph of any of the world famous holes at the Masters like Amen Corner of 10, 11 and 12. Then I have the 13th and 15th, these 6 being the most popular.

Many photographs will feature the top golfers on the putting greens .... Tiger Woods, Vijah Singh, Phil Nickelson and others.

Contact Clayton at 731-334-0050 to discuss which holes you need, matting and framing. I have an extensive collection of the Masters at Augusta
